I’m sitting on nearly 300 tracks at this point for the next album for The Ghost Mariners. Part of me only wants to release four-song EPs at this point, so I’m still debating what to do within myself. I have a pattern for the type of tunes to include in each EP, but they wouldn’t be themed in any larger sense. It would be more about pacing and effect.
I also have a new project called Shadow Ship Sentinel, but more on that later. It’s taking me a while to design a logo and such, even though I already have pieces written for that particular project. It’s probably going to end up being a hybrid style of things but there’s definitely a mix of shoegaze, dream pop, goth, and surf rock flavored with elements of electronica and influences like Bauhaus, The Cure, and all the moodier stuff from the 80s and 90s. No vocals on anything so far, but I’m not against it.
