Inspired by Johannes Itten’s book, “Design and Form—The Basic Course at the Bauhaus and later”

Itten’s little book is so full of clear and useful prodding that it should probably be in every artist’s library. His section on rhythm is particularly helpful because it reminds you that light has its own music, its own regularities that can be long or short, strong or weak and so forth. It all comes together in a profound gestalt.

These digital pieces were inspired by some of the ideas in the book.
