This is one of those large pieces that I can’t properly display on a computer and achieve its intended effect. However, two close ups are below that show the order and chaos lurking within the larger piece.
This would make a great double-door pattern, perhaps chemically etched on metal or achieved through laser etching on wood. I’d have to investigate the process, but I can also envision it as a frosted glass panel with regular patterns replacing the solid black areas.
